International Men’s Day is a chance to talk openly about men’s mental health—something that often goes unspoken. 💙
International Men’s Day is an important reminder that men’s mental health matters too. Many men feel pressure to stay strong, keep things together, or handle everything on their own. In Canada, men are three times more likely to die by su***de, yet only about 30% of men experiencing mental health challenges seek help. These numbers reflect a deeper issue: societal pressure to appear “strong” or “in control,” even when life feels heavy.
But emotional support is not a weakness. Reaching out is a meaningful and healthy step.
If you’ve been noticing increased stress, burnout, irritability, withdrawal, or changes in your mood or energy, you’re not alone. These can be signs that your system is carrying more than it can manage. Support is available, and healing is possible. 🌿
At Little Tree Psychology, we support men navigating depression, anxiety, work-related stress, anger, substance use, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more. You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out.
Today and every day, we see you, and we’re here to support you. 💚
