Your baby changes so much in the first few years of life, and regular well-baby visits with your primary care provider can help you keep track of their growth, milestones and overall health. 👶💙

These visits are also a chance to ask questions, talk about feeding, sleep or development, and get support from your care team.

From newborn to toddler, your PCN is here to partner with you every step of the way! If you have questions or want to learn more about how we can support your growing family, visit www.sherwoodparkpcn.com

Tomorrow - Tuesday, September 30 - is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

It is a time to learn, reflect, and honour Survivors of residential schools, as well as the children who never returned home, and their families and communities.

Alberta Primary Care Networks are committed to listening, learning, and taking action to reduce barriers and improve primary care experiences for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

We invite you to join us in marking the day by wearing orange and attending community events. From commemorative walks to Powwows, workshops, Elder storytelling, and film screenings, there are many opportunities to reflect and connect.

🤔 Do supplements actually work? Are they safe, effective, or worth the cost?

Before starting any supplement, your first step should be talking to your primary care provider or a pharmacist, especially if you’re already taking medications. 💊

🔎 In our latest article, Eugune Lim, PCN pharmacist, breaks down supplement use and how to make informed decisions for your health: https://albertafindadoctor.ca/news/what-to-know-about-supplements

💙 Every child deserves safe, high-quality care — right from the start.

This World Patient Safety Day, we’re joining the call to put children’s safety first in every health care setting. Newborns and young children face higher risks because their health needs change so quickly. They rely on adults to speak up and make decisions for them.

A single safety incident can have lifelong consequences for a child’s health and development. That’s why World Patient Safety Day 2025 is dedicated to ensuring safe care for every newborn and child. 🧒 https://loom.ly/xNuksco
