The fall immunization program will help protect those at highest risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19.

Phase one of the new plan will provide vaccines free of charge to eligible Albertans, and phase two will be for healthy Albertans who will be required to pay an administrative fee of $100 to receive the vaccine.

Those eligible in phase one include:
• health care workers
• all residents of continuing care homes and seniors supportive living accommodations
• home care clients
• people six months of age and older with underlying medical conditions and compromised immune systems
• those experiencing houselessness
• people 65 and older receiving the Alberta Seniors Benefit

Phase one appointments will begin on Oct. 1 for eligible Albertans, pending vaccine availability. Phase two appointments for all other Albertans are expected to begin on Oct. 20.

• If you have a doctor who is a member of the Sherwood Park – Strathcona County PCN (regardless of their location).

OR

• If you don’t currently have a family doctor and you live in Fort Saskatchewan, Gibbons, Bruderheim, Redwater, Lamont, or Bon Accord.
