Did you know that Dr. King has been working with the Edmonton Riverhawks since the team’s inaugural season?

This is his 4th season working with the Riverhawks, as their team trainer and Chiropractor.

He doesn’t travel with the team but when they are in town, he is in the dugout for their home games. Providing treatment for players before/after games as well as assessing any new injuries that might occur during the game.

Did you know that our body has over 600 muscles and the strongest muscle pound for pound is our masseter. The masseter muscle is one of our chewing muscles (muscles of mastication), located in the cheek area of our face.

It is also common for people that have clenching issues or grinding issues to have very tight masseter muscles and this can be a factor in causing TMJ syndrome or Temporal- Mandibular- Dysfunction.

At Tailor Made Wellness, we have Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Acupuncturists that can all help with TMJ syndrome. Each profession takes a slightly different approach with the goal of helping you feel better.
