My Story
My yoga journey began at a young age. It was the 70's and hey, yoga was the new βin-thingβ. It turns out yoga wasn't a passing fad. There was something special about it, something time would not undo. Certainly not a fad!
My immediate passion grew to a deep connection. As time went on my connection with yoga grew deeper. My years of practice were my best study guide. I began to cultivate gratitude, compassion, peace and a love for myself and all other beings. Yoga lit a fire inside me, it gave me a knowing to follow my inner guru, to be my true authentic self. Yoga created an awareness that I took off my mat and out into life. The desire to share this sense of heightened awareness is what inspired me to teach.
I am so very grateful for how yoga connects me to my inner being, brings a deep sense of calm and well-being. It never ceases to amaze me how a practice can stretch and strengthen the body, but at the same time stretch and strengthen the mind, the heart and the spirit.
