New 1-Bedroom Rental Homes – Sicamous, BC (55+ Building)

The Eagle Valley Senior Citizens Housing Society is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting applications for a limited number (11) of one-bedroom Market Value rental units in its new seniors housing project at 316 Gordon Munro Lane - Munro Court, Sicamous.

The 550 sq. ft one bedroom, one-bathroom units, equipped with dishwashers and in-suite storage, are available for $1,300 per month starting 01 April 2026.

This includes one parking space per unit and access to the common laundry on each floor.
Eligibility Requirements: At least one household member must be 55 years of age or older and the maximum gross household income is $85,870.

With the Wind Storm that Occurred in Sicamous on July 16,2025
The Board of Directors, Staff and Tenants would like to thank the following for their quick response and assistance to ensure the safety of our tenants.

Sicamous Fire Department
Shuswap Search and Rescue
RCMP
Bill Tree Service
Rob's Yard Maintenance
Sicamous Electric

The Haven incurred thousands of dollars in damages, including extensive damages to the Haven common room and adjoining pergola. Downed trees blocked safe exits though the front doorways for a brief time until fire department returned and cleared the debris.
Everyone was safe after the terrifying winds subsided. 🙏
We are truly grateful for all the amazing help we recived from everyone.

MUNRO COURT APPLICATION UPDATE:

Anyone interested in applying for housing in Munro Court should submit an application to BC Housing's Housing Registry.

The Society will select qualified tenants from the BC Housing registry.

While there is no specific waitlist for Munro Court, applicants can indicate their preferred community when applying to BC Housing, and the Society will have access to that information. Anyone interested in living in Munro Court can apply to BC Housing through www.bchousing.org and follow these steps:

1) Visit the Housing Registry – Online Application to start a new application online. (If you prefer to apply by mail, please print and fill out the Housing Registry Application Form)

2) Review the instructions and note the documents you need

3) Complete the application form and submit
