Confession time... sometimes I hum or whistle purposefully just to annoy cranky people - apparently, I have a little nasty side. Mostly though, I hum or whistle to bring joy to myself (and maybe some others); ‍turns out there is research about the benefits of this very thing and, in fact, there are even stress-relieving powers as a hidden bonus.

It's been an explosive year, so far.

I try to see the positive, it’s my job after all - who wants a cranky ‘motivational speaker’? But if I’m being honest, 2024 has been an explosive year, so far.

Though I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and typically assume things are going to get better, sooner rather than later, this year has pushed me right over the edge and I found myself going to the dark side.

You wanna hate on me? Fine, I can hate on you back! I got caught up in the ugly, my mind went places it's never gone before; it was scary.
