Clinic Update!

We have moved to our new location! (which is Right beside the old location).

This is a really exciting opportunity for us, as we now have space to offer the chiropractic you are familiar with, but rehab, massage, physio and more.

Our first massage therapist will be starting on September 21st, and we will be adding physio/acu soon!. We also offer custom orthotics, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and nutritional counselling!

CLINIC UPDATE!

I hope you are all enjoying your fall! Please note that I will be away from office from Dec 8th-Jan 2nd this year. There will be a locum, Dr. Nic, covering some of that time so please book in with him to continue your care while I am away!

Other than that, we have some really big new to announce in the new year. Stay tuned!!

CLINIC UPDATE!

We are Re-Branding! Our new clinic name is Coastal Active Health; If you are trying to book online through Jane App, you will have to search for the clinic name, but will still be able to use all of your past credentials (username, password).

This is an exciting update for us, as we transition into including other modalities within the clinic such as Low Level Laser therapy and Shockwave, as well as our usual chiropractic care, rehab, nutrition etc.

Good Morning!

Just a heads up, I am going to be away from office from Apr 30th - May 18th. I will have a few days covered in that time by Dr. Logan; you may remember him from his time as in intern here, so if you need to get in there will be options! Otherwise, I’ll do my best to fit you in before or after my break!

Hello!

It’s been a long while, and I wanted to post another quick update.
Clinic has been very busy of late; we are trying our best to accommodate everyone who needs appointments, and we sincerely appreciate you patience as we work through a backlog.

With that said, Both our chiropractors have now been vaccinated. Our current covid safety guidelines have not changed however; we still require medical grade masks, social distancing between patients in the clinic, and frequent sanitization.

If you have any questions or concerns about visiting the clinic, please let us know!

Again, I appreciate your patience as we work through a very busy time!

Good Morning!

Quick clinic update:

We have started to open up our hours and schedules to accommodate or regular patients; we are still triaging by the most acute/severe patients, so your understanding is appreciated as we navigate the backlog of people hoping to receive treatment!

I will be working Tuesdays and Saturdays for the foreseeable future; this schedule will likely change in the coming weeks but for now I just have the two days in office.

We do ask that all patients wear a mask when within the clinic; masks will be available for purchase if need be for $2. Proceeds from masks sales will go the the Food Bank. We also encourage all patients to pay with card, preferably tap, in order to minimize use of contact surfaces.

Currently Online booking is disabled; please call, email, or message me for an appointment!

I'll update as often as I get new information, but please if you have any questions let me know.

Hello!

We are slowly starting to re-open the clinic, with each practitioner only having times available 1-2 days a week. We are trying to limit the number of people and practitioners within the clinic at any one time, and this seemed like the best way to proceed for the time being.

I will be open on Tuesdays and Saturday's, starting May 26th; Please either call us or email us if you would like to schedule an appointment; online booking is unavailable for the time being.

We are taking every effort to limit the risk to the practitioner and the patient, and we ask that every patient also participate in this effort. We ask that you be diligent in sanitary hand practices, wear a mask when on clinic premises, use contact-less payments where possible, and be mindful of the space around you.

Please stay safe and healthy! I look forward to seeing anyone in need of care in the coming weeks.

Hello Everyone!

Thank you again for your understanding and patience during these times.

We are still currently only treating emerge/urgent care patients, under the guidelines set our from our regulatory college. The province of BC announced the phase-in plan for return to work, but as practitioners we have to wait for the go-ahead from our own regulatory college before we proceed in any greater capacity.

The college of chiropractors is working with the provincial health authority and the other allied health profession colleges in attempt to finalize guidelines for safe patient care. Once those guidelines are established and we can widen the scope of who we care for, we will let you know!

Clinic Update

I will be opening one partial day per week, so as to get in those people who truly cannot wait. We are still mandated by our provincial government to limit in person chiropractic care to acute, emergent cases for the time being. What this means is that there is a triage process to determine necessity of care; if you feel you need care, please get in contact and we will get back to you with available options.

Hello!

I hope this message finds you all staying occupied and healthy!

We have a (very) tentative opening date for April 20th, but only in an emergency/essential care capacity. What this means is that we are prioritizing treatment for those people with severe/acute conditions. Examples may include conditions that would severely worsen without care; conditions that require heavy medication without chiropractic interventions; or conditions that would require medical/emergency visits, if not for receiving care.
