Robbie Burns Day at Cedar Crossing 🇸🇨

We kicked off our Robbie Burns Day celebrations with a lovely Scottish tea and shortbread social, enjoying traditional Scottish music along the way 🎶☕.

Residents proudly wore their tartans, adding to the festive spirit!
We also put our knowledge to the test with a fun Scottish trivia competition—and, of course, sampled some delicious Scottish tablet (fudge).

A cozy morning filled with culture, laughter, and a wee bit of sweetness. 💙

💙 Bell Let’s Talk Day 💙

Today, our residents and staff came together to support mental health and spread positivity. Everyone shared ideas on how to love yourself by writing on our positivity board, enjoyed some tasty blue snacks, and proudly wore their blue shirts in support.

We also had fun taking photos with messages and ideas on ways to improve your mental health. It was a meaningful day filled with connection, encouragement, and important conversations.

What a busy and fun-filled week we had at Cedar Crossing! 🎉❄️

We kicked things off by celebrating National Popcorn Day by making homeade popcorn balls 🍿, then got moving with tabletop curling and a snowball toss to mark the start of the Quebec Carnival!

Midweek brought out our creative (and tasty!) side as we decorated cupcakes with Chef Erica 🧁 and enjoyed a delicious ice wine tasting 🍷. We wrapped up the week on a high note with entertainment by Dave Burden and a relaxing happy hour 🎶🥂.

So many great moments packed into one week—full of laughter, creativity, and winter fun!

🎄🍪 Gingerbread Magic at Our Resident Christmas Dinner! 🍪🎄

Our gingerbread-themed resident Christmas dinner was nothing short of sweet! From the decorations to the delicious meal, every detail came together to create a truly special evening for our residents.

A huge shout-out to our amazing staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this night possible — your dedication, creativity, and care truly shone through. 💛

The smiles said it all as residents enjoyed the festivities and even had their photos taken with Mrs. Claus and the Gingerbread Man, making memories that will last long after the cookies are gone!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this evening so magical. It was a night full of joy, laughter, and holiday spirit! ✨🎅🍪
