The strongest people — in sports, in business, in life — understand how hard growth truly is.A wealthy person doesn’t mock someone trying to build their first bit of savings.A fit person doesn’t laugh at the beginner who’s catching their breath.A committed athlete doesn’t judge someone learning the fundamentals.
They’ve lived the struggle. They remember the fear, the setbacks, and the effort it takes to start. People who are ahead want others to rise. It’s usually the ones who feel behind who criticize the loudest.
Most criticism isn’t about you. It’s a reflection of someone else’s insecurity, regret, or frustration. Hurt people, hurt people. And when you understand that, their words lose power.
