You bring comfort on difficult days, laughter on the light ones, and dignity to every moment in between. The compassion you show doesn’t go unnoticed—it creates a home, not just a place to live.

We're looking for your help! Are you a high school student in need of community volunteer hours? Or do you know someone who is?
Here at Golden Pond Retirement Living in Waterford, we a starting a modernization project of our elevator. During this time, our residents will need a little extra support with meaningful engagement, social interaction and meal service. Volunteering with us at Golden Pond is a rewarding way to build skills, earn volunteer hours and brighten someone's day!

The residents at Golden Pond were absolutely delighted to have a visit today from Waterford’s “Travelling Santa”. And just in time for our resident Christmas Party, too!

Wonderful food, drinks and many laughs were shared by all. Special thanks to those who suggested sharing the joy of travelling Santa with our dear residents at Golden Pond. It certainly made our night extra special!

What a lovely Christmas Party at Simcoe Heritage Retirement Home! 🎄✨

Our residents enjoyed a delightful evening filled with a delicious Christmas dinner, plenty of laughter, and the joy of spending time together as a one big happy family. The Elvis performance brought back cherished memories and had the room buzzing with smiles, singing along, and toe-tapping fun. We were also treated to a beautiful piano performance by Kathy, whose music added a peaceful and heartfelt touch to the celebration.

Seeing everyone so happy, engaged, and sharing this special christmas moments together made the day truly magical. ❤️🎶

A special thank you to Linda, Lisa and Barb from Port Dover for dropping in this afternoon. These wonderful ladies support troops overseas and recently opened their support to local veterans as well.

Pictured is our dear resident, Clayton, who served for our country some years ago. A lovely present filled with many goodies and gifts was very much appreciated by Clayton, (and the residents he shared the turtles with!)

You three ladies sure know how to spread love and cheer during the holiday season. Merry Christmas and God Bless. ❤️ 🎄 🙏
