Performance anxiety in the bedroom is more common than most p***s owners think.

It’s not about “not being man enough.” It’s about how pressure, fear, and expectations can get in your head and affect your body.

Whether it’s worrying about your partner’s satisfaction, fears about erections, or the stress of past experiences - this can lead to a vicious cycle that only makes things worse.

The good news? You can break the cycle.

🔹 S*x Therapy helps
🔹 Communication helps
🔹 Mindfulness and stress reduction help
🔹 Education helps

The worst thing you can do is stay silent.

You are not alone. You are not broken. And you deserve to enjoy intimacy without fear. 💙

We are excited to share that we have another s*x therapist joining Embodied S*xual Wellness and Psychotherapy! Justin is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Registered Clinical Counsellor.

“Hi, I’m Justin.

Great s*x, strong relationships, and real emotional closeness shouldn’t feel out of reach. But when connection becomes difficult, when conversations shut down, desire fades, or old wounds resurface, it can be hard to know where to begin. I’m a s*x and relationship therapist with advanced training in S*x and Couples Therapy. I use a variety of mental health treatments including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, EMDR, the Gottman Method, and more. My work is affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in the science of how people build and lead satisfying s*xual lives.

I support individuals and couples in deepening intimacy, improving connection, and feeling more at home in their bodies and relationships. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable in other parts of life, yet quietly carry a sense of overwhelm, distance, or confusion in their inner world. They often feel stuck in patterns they can’t fully name and unsure how to ask for what they really need. I frequently work with concerns such as erectile dysfunction, premature ej*******on, delayed ej*******on, intimacy issues, and other challenges related to desire, arousal, and s*xual performance.

Whether you’re q***r, straight, monogamous, poly, questioning, or in a relationship that no longer feels safe, I offer a warm, non-judgemental space to explore what a pleasure-led and authentic life can look like for you.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in practical tools and evidence-based methods. Together, we’ll work to nurture the parts of you and your relationships that long for more security, honesty, and connection. S*x can be fun again, and I’d be honoured to help you get there.“

Justin is able to support individuals from Ontario and BC. Learn more about Justin or schedule a consultation call by visiting our website!

Ever wondered what our s*xual wellness clinic looks like?! Check out our space! 💕

We have three individual offices for our therapists to meet with clients, a comfy waiting area, and a lot of fun toys and items on display for purchase! (Oh and a coffee and tea station, because therapy just isn’t complete without a hot bevy 😉).

The most important aspect of our clinic is that s*xuality is not hidden behind neutrality and cookie cutter aesthetics. You are going to find lots of art pieces with vulvas & p***ses, and lots of s*x toys and anatomical tools on display!

S*xual wellness shouldn’t carry a stigma. Our one-of-a-kind clinic in Norfolk County is proud to be loud about pleasure.

S*xual shame is quiet- but heavy.

It lives in the parts of us that flinch, shut down, or go silent.

It tells us that our desires are too much, our boundaries not enough, and our bodies somehow wrong.

But here’s the truth:

🖤 Shame is not yours to carry.
It’s passed down through trauma, culture, religious scripts, and silence.

🖤 You are allowed to be curious.
To ask questions, to take up space, to want more, or less.

🖤 Healing from s*xual shame is possible.
It starts with gentleness. With naming it. With knowing you’re not alone.

You are worthy of a relationship to s*x, pleasure, and your body that feels rooted in truth- not shame.

✨ Save this post if you need the reminder.

🖤 Follow for more on healing shame, exploring s*xuality, and reconnecting with your s*xual self.

✨Exciting News! ✨

Deanna (aka Dea!) will be beginning her practicum with us in September, and we are so excited!

“Hi, I’m Dea — a future therapist with a passion for helping women reconnect with their most confident, authentic selves.

Before entering the world of psychotherapy, I spent five years as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. What started as a journey into teaching intuitive eating quickly evolved into something deeper. I realized that the struggles my clients faced with food and body image weren’t just about nutrition — they were about relationships: with their mothers, sisters, partners, friends, and even the media.

These conversations often led into topics like self-worth, boundaries, s*x, dating, and identity — and I found myself most lit up by those moments.

Healing, I believe, begins with releasing old stories and patterns and making space for new ones rooted in acceptance, self-compassion, and personal growth. If we want to glow on the outside, we have to grow on the inside.

In my therapy practice, I’m excited to integrate approaches such as attachment theory, solution-focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy. I work from a person-centred lens, meaning we’ll collaborate to find what works best for you. I value connection, humour, authenticity, and creating a space where you feel seen and supported.

Outside of work and school, you’ll likely find me at the gym, playing pickleball, biking around town, sipping coffee, or bingeing s*x and relationship podcasts. I also love to travel — and as someone with ADHD, I proudly have a new hyperfixation every season, so odds are, we’ll find something to bond over (even if that thing is simply having a neurospicy brain)!

I am so looking forward to walking alongside you in your therapy journey. Whether your goal may be upping your confidence, finding your path, improving your relationships, or exploring your mental health, I am here to support you, and hopefully make you laugh a little along the way. Nothing is “too taboo,” bring it on!”

If you already are feeling Dea’s vibes and want to get connected with her, reach out and we will get you on her waitlist! 💕💜

Pleasure isn’t a luxury or indulgence — it’s a powerful force for connection, healing and self-trust.

Reclaiming pleasure is reclaiming your power ✨

It’s a vital part of your nervous system, your healing, your joy, and your sense of wholeness.

When we prioritize pleasure, we’re choosing presence over pressure, curiosity over shame, and connection over survival.

Pleasure is radical. It softens what the world has hardened.

Intentionally reaching for pleasure and carving space for it into your life is not selfish — it’s necessary.

We can find pleasure in small moments of the day, in the way we listen to our senses, and in the pleasure-focused products we use ( like The Pleasure Pods ) 💜

Reclaim it. Trust it. Let it lead you back to you. 💫
