Pain relief and pain resolution are not the same thing.
Most people are stuck in a cycle that looks like this
Pain shows up
They treat the symptom
It feels better for a little while
Then the pain comes right back
That is temporary relief.
Ice. Pain meds. Heat and stim. Stretching the spot that hurts.
These can help calm things down, but they often do not solve the real problem.
Because the place you feel pain is not always where the problem started.
For example
Your low back hurts, so you keep stretching your back.
But the real issue could be weak glutes, stiff hips, poor movement patterns, or joints above and below the area not doing their job.
So the back keeps working overtime.
And the pain keeps returning.
Real, long term change happens when you find the root cause.
That means identifying what is not moving well, what is weak, what is overworking, and what your body has been compensating for.
When you fix the source, the symptoms stop coming back.
Temporary relief treats the smoke.
Finding the root cause puts out the fire. 🔥
