Today is the day folks! Flu shots are now available to the general public! 💉

We are happy to accept walk-ins, but if you have a large family or group, have small children who need extra time, or you would just like a little extra privacy (for any reason!) - phone us and we can schedule you an appointment after hours when things are a little more quiet! 💙

Otherwise, here are a few tips if you are planning to come see us for a flu shot:

✅ Wear a short sleeved shirt if possible - we inject near the top of your arm! 💪 Bulky sweaters or tight long-sleeves make it tricky to access the injection site!

✅ If you are not already on file as a patient here, having your Alberta Health Card # ready will make the process much quicker!

✅ Be patient and kind to our staff 🫶 - remember, we still have all of our usual pharmacy work to do as well on top of administering hundreds of flu shots in the coming weeks!

Flu shot season is in full swing 💉This week and last we were busy doing immunization clinics for the seniors at Vanderwell Lodge and Sweetgrass 💙👩🏻‍⚕️

Next week, the fall immunization program opens to the general public starting on Monday October 20! 📆📌

🦠💉🤧Flu season is fast approaching! 🦠💉🤧

Regular FLU SHOTS will be available at the Pharmacy starting Monday October 20th!

As per previous years, we will be accepting walk-ins, no appointment is required.

After-hours appointments can be made for those who may need/want a little bit of extra time or privacy (families with small children, anyone who may be nervous to get a needle etc...) Call us directly to discuss any requests for accommodation! ☎️ 780-849-2896

Just a reminder, that we do choose to recognize The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and as such, we will be CLOSED on Tuesday September 30th 🧡🪶

If you have any urgent prescription needs that day, you can phone the pharmacy and leave a voicemail, or send us a private message here on Facebook to request a callback (please do not send any personal health information or prescriptions via messenger due to privacy regulations). Our Pharmacist/Owner will respond to requests on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise we will be open to serve you at 8:30am on Wednesday October 1st 🍂

⚠️Due to the current power outage (which seems to be affecting most of town) we are closed at the moment. We will resume operations as soon as power is restored⚠️
