Did you know that whether it’s used as a standalone treatment or as complementary therapy, physiotherapy plays a critical role in restoring lost movement and function?

Physiotherapy is primarily used to treat musculoskeletal issues, including a wide range of sports & work-related injuries! If you’ve taken a knock on the sports field or suffered an injury at work due to heavy lifting or performing repetitive movements, there’s a good chance physiotherapy will play a big part in your treatment.

There’s an enormous body of research supporting the use of physiotherapy for treating musculoskeletal problems. For example, dozens of studies have demonstrated that physiotherapy can help with joint injuries & pain relating to the back, neck, shoulder, knee wrist & ankle. Physiotherapy is also often prescribed to speed up the post-surgery rehabilitation process.

If you are involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) & sustain any injuries, our dedicated Physio & Admin are able to open a claim by submitting the required AB 1&2 paperwork to your insurance company.

Following this, they will begin treatment on your injuries to ensure you have a full recovery where you are pain-free & return to your normal activities of life. This assessment & treatment process will come at no cost to you as all billing is done directly through your extended benefits & car insurance provider.

Whether you are the driver or a passenger, all persons involved in an MVA, regardless of fault, are entitled to complimentary care. Ideally a claim should be submitted within 10 days to prevent your injuries from worsening & to ensure you receive the full benefit of your MVA coverage, however you do have 2 years from the date of the accident in which to file!!! (Provided the claim was initially reported.)
