5 Years. From 100 Square Feet to This. 🥂

In January 2021, the story of this business began in a 10x10 storage room in the back of a health food store. It was just a small space, a handful of dedicated clients, and a massive dream. It wasn’t much... but it was the start of everything.

Four years ago to the day, we took the ultimate leap. We gave that dream a name and a mission: Horizon Kinesis Club.

The evolution since then has been the ride of a lifetime.

We didn't just grow in square footage; we grew in how we care for our community. By listening to your feedback, we expanded to include evening and weekend hours, a dedicated reception team, and expert staff like Cassie (FST & PT) to ensure every member is supported.

But we knew there was more to the story. Moving to 9 Hershey Drive allowed us to become a true 24-hour gym and health clinic. We officially brought Dr. Jenna under our roof for Chiropractic care to ensure your body is being healed and supported, not just challenged. 🦴

And the growth hasn't stopped.

As we settle into our new home, we’ve welcomed Hannah to the team to provide Holistic Nutrition and GI MAP Testing, alongside our new Infrared Sauna. We are now fully committed to your health from the inside out. 🧪🥗🔥

Whether you’ve been with us since the storage room days or you just walked through our doors at 9 Hershey for the first time—thank you. You are the heart of this club and the reason we continue to evolve.

Meet the founder and vision behind Horizon Kinesis Club, Luke Richards

Horizon is the culmination of a five-year journey to change the way we experience healthcare. As a Registered Massage Therapist (CMTO) and NASM Certified Personal Trainer with over a decade of experience across Canada, Luke’s path to opening these doors was deeply personal.

A former athlete, Luke’s career was shaped by his own recovery from concussions, trauma, and broken bones. Those experiences revealed a gap in the industry. A healthcare system often reliant on waiting rooms and temporary fixes rather than movement and empowerment. Luke envisioned something better: a 24/7 integrated health clinic and gym where recovery and performance live under one roof.

“I wanted to create the change I wished to see as an athlete. A space where you are listened to, supported, and given the tools to reclaim your own health.”

Education is at the core of Luke's practice. He combines clinical massage therapy with strength-based coaching to help his community move better and live without restriction. Whether he is in the treatment room or on the gym floor, his goal is the same: to provide intentional, evidence-based care that leads to long-term resilience.

He is a firm believer that movement is for everyone, and he is honored to lead a team that shares that same mission.

Luke is currently accepting a limited number of clients for both Massage Therapy and Personal Training.

Meet our Fascial Stretch Therapist & Personal Trainer, Cassie Rever

Cassie has been part of the Horizon Kinesis Club team for just over a year. Along with being a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist, she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Cassie is currently in school for osteopathy, continuing to expand her hands-on approach to care.

Cassie takes time to understand each client as an individual, focusing on how their body moves and feels. Her sessions are personalized and intentional, supporting mobility, recovery, and strength for everyday life.

Drawing from her athletic background, Cassie brings a thoughtful and supportive approach to every session. She works with clients of all ages to improve movement quality, confidence, and overall comfort in their bodies.

Meet our Holistic Nutritionist Hannah Burke

You may already know Hannah from our front desk, and we’re excited to share that she is now welcoming clients as a Holistic Nutritionist!

Hannah is a graduate of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, with advanced education in gut health and GI-MAP microbiome testing. She is passionate about uncovering and supporting the root cause of symptoms to help clients achieve long-term, sustainable health.

Hannah specializes in supporting concerns such as acne, bloating, digestive issues, period and hormonal health, and chronic inflammation. Her approach is highly individualized and integrative, combining functional testing, in-depth intake assessments, and comprehensive diet audits to gain a clear understanding of each client’s unique needs.

From there, she creates personalized plans using targeted nutrition strategies, lifestyle support, and when appropriate, herbal and supplement protocols, always with a focus on realistic, sustainable change.
