My entire Human Design shows me that I'm designed to go through various 7 year cycles in my businesses and I can look back on my life and see how this as played out - almost to the minute!

It's not lost on me that we can divide ourselves over just about anything these days.....

How on earth could an event in the sky tempt us to take such strong stands for or against glasses, looking at the sun, resting vs going out, etc.

In the back of my mind, I'm often asking myself:
What am I being distracted from?

In life, in business, in the grand scheme of things.

I wonder if we will ever be able to live and let live again?
I sure hope so.

Women at midlife are at a crossroads. We feel betrayed by our bodies and a medical system that doesn't 'get us'

We are FED UP with being told that we need to eat KETO, or PALEO or the latest craze, even though it makes us feel like crap.

We are sick of being dismissed by our doctors because “it’s a natural part of aging”

We are tired of wondering “is it my hormones or is it me? Will I ever feel like 'me' again?"

If another person tells us to “relax” we might just blow a gasket. Don't they think that if we knew how to relax, we would be doing just that?!!

Everything we're being told about our health, energy and wellbeing is conflicting... we need to stop “being dramatic” but we also need to be assertive and speak up. We need to eat less fat - no wait, high fat is the answer. Bacon is bad - but when you're eating KETO, it's a health food! We aren't eating enough fruits and vegetables- but wait, too much fruit is bad. We're to sleep 7-9 hours a night - but that makes us wimpy. Why can't we tough it out and live on 4? Excuse me what? You want to have s*x tonight? Let me just drop everything and take care of that too!

There are SO many people pulling on us at all times. We see these beautiful relationships on “This Is Us” and think that’s what we should want... but what we really want is a vacation alone with no phone, no responsibilities, and no one to look after but ourselves. For once (italics) We are burned out, fed up, and OVER IT ALREADY. We've had enough. We've done enough. And if we don't take control of our health, we know that we don't stand a chance of surviving our "second act," let alone thriving in it.

It’s time to ditch the fads. It’s time to stop looking for shortcuts. It’s time to get real.

Chronic health issues, medical system dependency, and feeling your body has betrayed you are the enemies of joy. There is a better way. An easier way. Imagine:

sleeping through the night

feeling rested

having enough energy to get through the day with ease

NOT reaching for carbs and coffee at 2pm
