Our clinic offers a variety of services that all lead to the path of overall wellness. Our role as dental professionals is changing from managers of specific local conditions such as gum disease, to helping our clients understand the "whole body" connection of oral health in disease prevention and provide them with the tools to help them take charge of their own health. Providing guidance through relevant research and education is a key component in my practice.For the longest time we have heard that there is a connection between your oral health and your overall health. But what does that really mean?? Does anyone ever talk to you about what that connection is? How do we know what is really going on in the body unless we look a little deeper. 10 years ago I embarked on a pathway of continuing education that lead me to the science of microscopy. If you want to see things at the cellular level you need to look in a microscope! I started examining plaque samples and was amazed at what we could see and more importantly what we can learn about a persons health. Once we knew what we were dealing with we are able to make some health corrections and bring back optimal oral health. After mastering the study of “Live Plaque” I began to realize if we can see all that in plaque what can we see in a droplet of blood. My journey to become Certified in Live Cell Microscopy has been amazing to say the least. Live cell analysis gives a unique ability to look through a tiny window (1 droplet of blood) and see what is happening on the inside and assess a persons overall health, and then work with them to make the proper nutritional changes to put the balance back in overall health.
