Our residents had a wonderful time decorating Christmas cookies and enjoying a cozy hot cocoa bar! There were lots of smiles, creativity, and of course—sweet treats. Thank you to everyone who decorated cookies not only for themselves, but also for others. It’s these thoughtful moments that truly make the season bright. ❤️🎄

The magic of Christmas lights was truly shining last night!
Our residents set off on a festive adventure to the Magic of Lights in Ottawa, where twinkling displays, bright colors, and plenty of smiles filled the evening. ✨🚗

The night wrapped up perfectly with a delicious dinner at the Gourmet Restaurant in Carleton Place, sharing great food, laughter, and wonderful company. 🍽️❤️

Moments like these are what make the holiday season so special—memories made, joy shared, and Christmas magic all around. 🎄💫

Our residents had a wonderful time in Chloe’s Craft Corner, creating Christmas crafts to decorate their doors and make our home feel extra festive! 🎄✨
There’s always laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of joy when everyone gathers for crafts.
It’s true what they say — Christmas brings out the child in everyone. ❤️
We love seeing the excitement and imagination that this season inspires in our community!

We had a very special night at Van Horne Manor!
Monday evening our residents were treated to a wonderful live performance by the incredibly talented Kristine St. Pierre. Her music filled our home with joy, energy, and a lot of smiling faces.
A heartfelt thank you to Kristine for sharing her talent with us, and to the generous family member of one of our residents who donated this performance. Your kindness made the evening truly memorable.
Moments like these are a great reminder of how vibrant and connected life can be here at Van Horne Manor. We’re grateful for our community—and for the people who make it feel so special.
