Generations of Joy at Van Horne Manor!
This week, our residents had a wonderful visit from Mobile EarlyOn Playgroups — and the smiles said it all! From giggles to songs, the room was filled with laughter and love.
Intergenerational play brings incredible benefits to everyone involved — boosting mood, sparking memories, and building meaningful connections across generations. Our residents light up around little ones, and the children get to experience kindness, calm, and the joy of new friendships.
Thank you to all the families who joined us — we can’t wait to see you next month! 💕

"October 1, 2025 marks the launch of the Mobile Playgroups first Intergenerational Playgroup — and we couldn’t be more excited! 🤍
This special program is a smaller, more intimate version of our regular playgroups, held indoors at Van Horne Manor, a retirement residence in Smiths Falls. We’ll be gathering in our cozy little space to bring together children and seniors for connection, laughter, and play.
Kindred Generations Playgroup will run on the first Wednesday of each month.
We can’t wait to see the magic that happens when generations come together!"
