Every Tuesday, and Thursday I am available for booking sessions in my West Room Healing Space at The Elemental Collective land. I have spent many years creating and honing my practice, and feel blessed and honoured to offer in this nuturing space.

Born and raised on Salt Spring Island, Reiki Master and artist, worked in the culinary field for 16 years learning and exploring the worlds of food, health and nutrition. For the past 6 years has lived a Plant Based Life, learning more about Vegan culinary artistry, natural ways of health, wild living and foraging, creating a knowledge base around holistic plant based medicines, superfoods and expanding knowledge around various healing arts.
A little about Reiki:
Reiki is an energy based practice, form of stress relief that also promotes healing and positive life patterns. When you receive a treatment, you could feel anything from a sence of relaxation, too walking away with a deepened sense of clarity and respect for yourself which can change your life altogether. Doing this will help you realign your energies, balance your chakras, and restabilize your mental/ emotional health, promoting healing. The techniques and practices of the practitioner may vary from person to person, but the principles of Reiki are more or less the same for everyone; to promote healing, cleansing and positive life experiences for the receiver and the giver. When you receive a treatment, it is often an exchange of energy, where often the practitioner receives healing as well as the client. The power and ability of Reiki treatments can be varied from practitioner to practitioner, due to the dedication and development of the individual's practice. Reiki energies, which are connected to source energies and experiences, always flow where and when they are supposed to be.
The practice of reiki incorporates the use of principles, symbols, and techniques accumulated over time by the practitioner in the gain of positive healing and alignment for the greater whole. Every practitioner should be working with somewhat the same principles and be able to work together when things align the right way and also be able to tap into other world energies that help guide and progress the practice.

As one achieves mastery of levels 1,2 and 3 with attunements they are given the 5 main symbols of Reiki to use in their practice. In the past, it took many many years to achieve these levels, possibly decades. Today it is much easier and “simpler” to receive Reiki through mainstream teachers and practitioners that have brought Reiki to the general public. It is up to the individual to take the steps to gain a functioning and respectful practice using the principles and ideas forming around Reiki. Symbols can also be used in conjunction with intention to unlock healing. One might choose to only attain levels 1 or 2 for their own personal growth and healing of friends, family, pets, and nature. If the individual is drawn to become a professional and create a living from Reiki, to help the greater whole and share the teachings and gifts that Reiki has to offer with the world, they are highly encouraged to finish their master teachers level.
It is, in my opinion a great honour and gift to be able to help the world in healing and becoming enlightened, raising our vibrations so we can all become the great loving energetic beings that we really are. Everyone has the ability to bring healing and wholeness to the world, some have just forgotten how powerful we are. Throughout the ages, there have been many different types of healers and energy workers, some well known, others a bit more obscure. In today's western society, it is becoming more and more acceptable to be a healer, but for some time it was considered unrecognized in the professional work world. Throughout time, the healers and mystics have been renowned for their gifts and often held as some of the most important people in each village, town, or city.
Still today, there are many cultures around the world that hold the healers with high praise and status. The acceptance of the “non-medical” practitioners has increased as more and more people are starting to recognize the results from dedicated “metaphysical” fields.
Combining Reiki with other modalities of healing, passed on from mentors and teachings, can create your unique offering that individuals will be drawn towards. These modalities may include but are not limited to; health and nutrition, massage, homeopathy, astrology, sound healing, meditation and alchemy of various types (essential oils, herbs, and plant medicines etc)
