The Sorrento & Area Community Health Centre is in its seventh year of operation and Theresa Walters, Nurse Practitioner, provides exceptional primary care for her patients. Everyone loves that health care services are available here and that they don’t have to drive to Salmon Arm or Chase.The Health Centre is located above Munro’s Pharmacy on the Trans Canada Highway in Sorrento – access is from the rear laneway. The Centre is open for appointments from 9 – noon and 1 – 4 Monday through Friday. Call 250 675-2167 for an appointment or for more information.

Our Story

The Sorrento & Area Community Health Centre is in its sixth year of operation. Theresa Walters, Nurse Practitioner, is providing primary care to residents of the South Shuswap. If you are without a health practitioner and wish to become Theresa’s patient, call the Health Centre at 250 803-5251 and have your name added to the waiting list. Patients receive exceptional, seamless primary care. Everyone loves that health care services are available here and that they don’t have to drive to Salmon Arm or Chase. The Health Centre is located above Munro’s Pharmacy on the Trans Canada Highway in Sorrento – access is from the rear laneway. The Centre is open for appointments from 9 – noon and 1 – 4 Monday through Friday. Call 250 803-5251 for more information. Immunization clinics occur on the fourth Monday morning of the month; footcare is available on alternate Thursday mornings by appointment by calling Vanna King, 1-250574-9969. The Health Centre is operated by the community and funded by donations. Each donation of $20 or more is eligible for a tax-deductible receipt and the donor becomes a member of the Sorrento & Area Community Health Centre Society.
