Seeing the beauty in every day. 🌼 May is Vision Health Month!
At Comfort of Living, we believe that feeling truly comfortable at home means being able to fully enjoy your favorite activities—whether that is reading a good book, knitting, or simply seeing the smiles on your grandchildren's faces.
Vision changes shouldn't stop you or your older loved ones from enjoying a vibrant, comfortable life. Here are a few simple ways to make a home more visually comfortable for seniors:
Maximize Natural Light: Open the curtains during the day to let the sunshine in, which reduces eye strain.
Use High Contrast: Place dark objects against light backgrounds (like a dark coffee mug on a white table) to make them easier to see.
Reduce Glare: Use sheer blinds or matte finishes on floors and tables to prevent uncomfortable reflections.
Let’s prioritize our eye health this month so we never miss out on life's most beautiful moments. When was your last eye exam? 👓💛
