I’m feeling so so grateful right now. 🥹 I’ve been informed there are THOUSANDS of participants listening to this very summit. Wow wow wow. 🥰

Today is the LAST day to listen in for free (if you now have FOMO - you can purchase access to the talks to listen at your leisure) and one of the summit talks features myself and my colleague Penny, who is a registered social worker, and we debunk the myth of what it means to be the “perfect” mother.

If you’ve enjoyed chats like ours in the past via the podcast, then I think you’ll like this one too. And some of the topics may delightfully surprise you (one in particular makes me tear up). Penny has some refreshing takes on how we can avoid trying to bend towards perfectionism. We’d be so grateful if you give it a listen!

And if you want to expand on these chats in our local group programs, we have a 4-week pilot program coming up that you can be part of, which you can apply to be on the waitlist for. Check out the website (link in bio) to learn more! We’d love to have you! :)

I’ve been listening to summits for over a decade and I remember feeling so enthralled in the content and incredibly inspired by the speakers.

And today, it’s honestly a “pinch me” moment because *I’m* featured as a “expert speaker” on today’s summit panel, which I know younger me would have been so stoked about! You really don’t know how far you’ve gone until you look back at where you’ve been. And it makes me proud and excited to even be a part of this.🥹

So if you feel inclined to hear about other postpartum experiences, my talk with my colleague Dr. Stephanie Peltz is being featured today. And if you didn’t sign up at the start of the summit, you can still do so and listen to today’s talks for free.

And for those of you that do listen, thank you💕. I feel like my work up to this point is about making your postpartum a shared experience, so that this incredibly beautiful and incredibly hard time in life doesn’t feel so lonely.

I remember having questions like this. And I was also very unsure of which resources were “legit”. After all, I wanted the best for my baby.

Thankfully, I’ve done the thought work for you! You don’t need to go searching anywhere else for these answers because they will all be touched on at next week’s summit “Thriving Trimesters”, which yes, includes postpartum health. 😉

I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a guest speaker for a couple topics, with some of my incredible colleagues. This summit is going to be ahhhmazing🔥.

Three things that I ask of you:
1️⃣ register for the 🤑FREE summit (link in bio and stories)
2️⃣ share this summit with a friend, family member or even to your own stories as a way to get this important information out to help as many people we can!
3️⃣ tune in next week to absorb all the info like a sponge 📝- we kick off on Monday!!

Can’t wait to see you there!🥳

Your brain doesn’t just “bounce back” postpartum — it transforms. ✨

This transformation includes increased neuroplasticity and gray matter growth, especially in areas of the brain responsible for caregiving, empathy, and emotional regulation.

These changes support cognitive flexibility and problem-solving — hello, supermom instincts, and enhance maternal sensitivity and social cognition, helping you better understand and respond to your baby’s needs. But here’s the other side - these changes can also make you more vulnerable to mood shifts like baby blues and postpartum depression.

Postpartum recovery can feel just like running a marathon — and sometimes, it feels like you’ve only made it 3km in. 😅

You’ve done the hard work of giving birth, but the journey to heal, balance hormones, and feel like "you" again is still ongoing.

The good news? You don’t have to run this race alone.

As a mom, getting back into exercise postpartum felt overwhelming. Balancing caring for my kids with finding time for myself was harder than I imagined (IYKYK). There were days when just wanting to move felt like a huge challenge (low energy, low motivation, lack of time, lack of childrcare, etc.), and I often wondered when and how it was safe to start without compromising my recovery or my baby's health.

That’s why I’m so excited about our latest episode of The Postpartum Empowerment Podcast! 🎙️✨ I had a very insightful conversation with Dr. Cayla, a naturopathic doctor who specializes in perinatal health in Sudbury ON. We dove into safe postpartum fitness, the importance of hydration, and how to listen to your body’s needs during recovery.

Whether you’re an athlete looking to return to your routine or a new mom incorporating gentle movements into your day, this episode is packed with valuable tips to help you thrive physically and emotionally.

As a mom, I’ve personally navigated the challenges of tongue ties with my kiddos. I remember not knowing a ton of information about it, and just thought for the betterment of breastfeeding, it needed to be dealt with. But there was so much information that I didn’t know. That’s why I’m so excited about this week’s episode of the Postpartum Empowerment Podcast!

I’m thrilled to welcome Dr. Madison Baile, a Calgary-based Webster Certified Chiropractor, who specializes in prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care. ✨

In this conversation, Dr. Baile shares how chiropractic care can alleviate common postpartum issues, effective solutions for baby tongue ties and latch challenges, and touches on the importance of early intervention for your little ones’ wellness.

You definitely don’t want to miss this episode! The link to listen is in my stories and bio.

One last thing…I’d love it if you could share this episode with other moms who might benefit from these insights. Together, we can build a community of empowered and healthy families! 🤗

✨ “If you needed a sign to get a massage, THIS IS IT! ✨

This week on the Postpartum Empowerment Podcast, I sat down with the incredible Robyn from Bump Prenatal and Postpartum Wellness, and we dove deep into easing postpartum pain and finding natural relief.

As a skilled massage and manual osteopathic therapist (and a mom herself!), Robyn knows exactly what it’s like to navigate postpartum discomfort—because she’s been there too! We covered:

💆‍♀️ How massage therapy can transform your postpartum recovery
💡 Natural ways to relieve pain and tension during those early mom days
👶 Tips for managing all that upper-body strain from carrying, feeding, and snuggling your little one
… and SO much more!

If you’re a new mom craving relief and a little TLC for your body and mind, you don’t want to miss this episode!
