Hello everyone. These special dates are coming up for our family. Putting out this 1 year reminder. We are having a small family dinner for Creston's birthday in gramma's backyard. In memory of uncle Creston. Please keep our gramma Vera in your hearts on these dates as I can already feel gramma's sorrow as these dates creep forward. Love and light all. Take care of each other ❤ -Chrissy

This was last night..

I remember sitting at this table and looking around at my family...and I remember thinking, "our family is absolutely amazing." And I felt at peace.

A lot of us suffer from social anxiety, but I didn't feel that at all. Because I knew and love everyone here...we're all family. And I don't think it gets any better than being together.

Thank you so much to Pearl, Aunty Norma, Aunty Darlene, Kristy, Terri and anyone else that stepped up, without being asked, and prepared food ALL WEEK! For our family. Every single meal was made with love and handled with care. Every single meal was spot on and we cant thank you enough for putting your life aside to help out.

Very pleased to watch all the pallbearers handle my uncle with such care and compassion. It was especially hard for our family to watch him leave for the final time. Thank you so much.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to the Cook's Ferry Band for providing the tents, tables and chairs. This also seemed to happen without being asked. Will called, asked what we needed, gramma said tables and chairs, he brought them over along with 2 tents for shade. And he set them us for us. Cook's Ferry also provided color printing access for our pamphlets. Which wouldn't have been made possible if Marissa hadn't taken the time to type everything up and provide a layout. Amy and Marissa collaborated at the band office this morning and were able to provide everyone with a pamphlet just in time. Thank you so much!

Special thanks to Aunty Norma. For transporting such precious cargo for our family. I'm sure you may have been feeling pressure, but you handle it(and everything else) with such grace. Thank you so much Aunty Norma!

Thank you so much to anyone that came by to show their love and support and to help out anyway they could. This past week I've seen so many wonderful things family has done for each other and it has warmed my heart. Thank you.

Lastly, I'd like to talk about my sister, Amy, for a second. I've never been more proud of her. She has been here 100% of the time, making arrangements, contacting people, making phone calls, taking notes... She has been our heavy hitter in all this. She's our treasurer, our team lead, she's been our go-to. And with that being said, Thank you Amy. For all the hard work and all the love, you poured from your own heart into this. I seen your hustle all week and I'm floored. Thank you, from my heart to yours ❤

The fire is out. And the backyard is empty. He's slowly going home. Soon...he'll be there. And our family's hearts can rest. We love you Creston. Watch over us 🌹

Gitanmaax denied funding because he's not being brought home. Application for small portion of government funding was made today. The rest of the cost needs to be covered by family.
