What You’ll Do:
* Guide families through the funeral arrangement process with empathy and professionalism
* Prepare and embalm the deceased for visitation and final services
* Coordinate with clergy, cemeteries, and service providers to ensure smooth operations
* Oversee and direct funeral services with attention to detail and decorum
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
* Maintain a respectful and organized preparation room
* Be a supportive presence during times of grief and loss

What We’re Looking For:
* Valid Funeral Director and/or Funeral Director & Embalmer license
* Genuine compassion for those experiencing loss
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* A commitment to upholding family-owned values and reputation
* Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and be part of an on-call rotation
* Valid driver’s license

⚫️Employment Type: Full-Time
⚫️Salary: Commensurate with experience
⚫️Benefits: Group insurance (health, vision, dental) paid time off, vacation, continuing education support

Supporting Compassion in All Forms 🐶 🐱

At Central Funeral Homes, we believe that compassion extends to every member of our community, including our furry friends.

This month, we were honored to make a donation to the Exploits Valley SPCA to support their incredible work caring for animals in need!

Pictured here is our funeral director/embalmer Renee Fancey presenting the cheque to Mark Lynch of the EVSPCA (and the goodest girl at her feet, Lady 🥰) Renee is also a proud volunteer at the shelter, so she was more than happy to give this donation on behalf of Team Central ❤️

The SPCA’s dedication to kindness and care reflects the same values that guide us in serving families every day. We’re proud to stand beside them in making a difference, one small act of love at a time.
