DO THE THING THAT YOU CAN DO
π When I was burnt out exhausted, my mind was spinning with an whirlwind of anxiety inducing thoughts while my body felt as heavy and immovable as a ton of bricks- so in those early days - I did what I could do. Breathe. Rest. Read. Laugh. Look at the trees. Lay on the grass. Go for a short walk. Little bits of yoga. Breathing intentionally.
It felt like I was doing nothing, however I was doing the most important thing- what I could tolerate and move myself to do.
I imagine the scale of my wellness began tipping with every small action to the point where I began to feel much better. More energetic. More joy. More peace. More acceptance. As the scale tipped back into my window of tolerance I began choosing different actions that I could- workouts, longer walks, creative work.
Every little bit counts. Even if itβs as small as a grain of sand- eventually the scale will tip.
