Treats for my beautiful clients♥️

When visiting new parents who are adjusting to life with a newborn, don’t come empty handed. Bringing something with you like a warm nutritious meal or something they can freeze for later, treats, a warm drink. This is something small that you can help contribute to nurturing sleep deprived parents.

Energy balls are easy to make and can be made many different ways. Whether a quick snack for late night feedings, on the go, energy boost or even to help aid with lactation supply. They are a great postpartum treat for any new parents you may know.
Here’s the recipe for these Banana-Choco Lactation Balls
1 cup Oatmeal
1/4 cup Cocoa powder
1 tsp Vanilla
1 mashed banana
1/3 cup Honey or Agave nectar
1/2 cup Peanut or Almond Butter
1 Tbsp chia seeds
2/3 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup Ground Flax seed
Chocolate chips
*Optional Brewers yeast
Mix all together. 30 mins in fridge. Roll into balls. Enjoy!

Have you ever been caught up in a routine in life where your running around on auto pilot, constantly trying to please others...and you can’t remember if you even brushed your teeth or took the time for yourself?
Pause, close your eyes and feel that breath..
Today I’m gonna take the time to be mindful of what my body needs.

A little About Me

Hey guys! If you found yourself on my page, Welcome! My names Kate Topola, mama to two little ragamuffins, Certified Holistic Doula and currently working towards my DONA Certification. From my personal birthing journey, I learned and truly believe that birth happens best when you feel safe and that you feel safest when in your own power, no matter what that may look like. Every birthing person should leave their birth feeling safe, empowered and be surrounded by a positive support system that respected their choices. As a holistic doula, I simply hold the space for that unique transformation to unfold while respecting that sacred relationship between the birthing person, baby, and partner. I strive only to support and nurture that beautiful balance and creation of family. As well as encouraging the connection of support systems within the community. We all experience our roles in parenthood differently, and in the end there are common threads and lessons that connect us all. We are all in this journey called parenthood together.
