I was chatting with a client yesterday about โgoing homeโ โ not just geographically, but energetically. Not just physically but ancestrally.
For me, thatโs Newfoundland. My grandfather was from there. My grandparents lived all over and eventually made their way across the world and settled on the West Coastโฆ and now here I am a West Coast girl (ok, maybe displaced a bit in Alberta now but ...) Generations later. Different land. Same thread.
What my client & I were really talking about was this: bringing the footprints of the new generation โ yes, thatโs us and our kids โ back to the land our ancestors walked on. Imprinting our energy. Completing something. Continuing something.
It reminded me of something Iโve done in the past. Iโve revisited old towns, childhood homes, even schools โ not for nostalgia, but to consciously close timelines. To gently release the memories, hopes, dreams, and versions of myself that once lived there.
Thereโs something powerful about returning with awareness. About choosing what continuesโฆ and what completes.
Have you ever gone โhomeโ and felt that shift? Or revisited a place from your past to close a chapter?
Ancestral work runs deeper than we often realize. Iโd love to hear your experience.
