We’ve been hard at work for the past two years on a project to enhance and revitalize one of our community’s most loved and well-used spaces: Central Park. The project is nearly complete, and we are so excited to welcome you back to Central Park for our grand re-opening celebration on Sunday, Aug. 31! Join us for:

❇️ Ribbon cutting and speeches
❇️ BMX and skateboard demonstrations
❇️ Food vendors
❇️ Live entertainment
❇️ Family activities
❇️ Try out the new playground equipment and wheeled sports park (bring your bike/board/scooter and helmet!)

Then, when the sun starts to set, sit back and enjoy a family-friendly movie in the park! Be sure to bring your blankets, lawn chairs and popcorn! Get all the details at sprucegrove.org/ReimaginedCP.

Spruce Grove teens!
Looking for something fun to do this summer? Head to the Lions Log Cabin at Central Park for our free, drop-in Youth at the Log Cabin program. Stop by weekdays from 1-8 p.m. to play games and sports, do crafts and connect with friends. The program runs every week until August 22. Learn more at sprucegrove.org/LogCabinYouth.

This happened TODAY!!

We want to thank Foresters Insurance (Thelma Jacobs) for the $1,500 grant she wrote for, for Parkland Pregnancy Support Centre. We were able to stock up our supplies with some:
- feminine hygiene
- deodorants
- toothbrushes
And make:
- 20 baby packs
- 60 adult hygiene packs
We are so grateful for our donors. A thank you is hardly sufficient when you make such a big difference in the lives of so many!
We have between 45-50 families visiting the centre each week, and the need is only increasing!

We have had some amazing donors that we didn’t want to miss sending a thank you to! They helped make the Hamper 4 Hope a success once again this Christmas season! A special thank you to Catholic Women’s League, Parkland Baptist Church (Stella Kragt), the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Heather Bates) Shelley Brownson, SMS Equipment Inc., Answer Trailer Rentals & Sales, and many more people who all pulled together but it would be impossible to get all of their names!! Please just know this, whether you’re named in here or not… THANK YOU, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making Christmas an extra special time for 108 families this year!

Needed: Parkland Pregnancy Support Centre needs a replacement refrigerator with a bottom freezer, as the one we were replacing is not working properly. We are looking for a Newer, Full-size model. If you have one available for donation, please contact me.
