So what is empathy anyways? It seems like this word is thrown around a lot. The best definition I've seen is one from one of my mentors, Avi Cohen, "Empathy in essence is knowing another’s mind: not as a mind-reader but as in the ability to have an accurate sense of another person’s experience". That just makes so much sense to me. The beauty of feeling heard, seen, and understood! How do you understand empathy?

Good news to share about mental health and addictions support!

The Province is significantly increasing the funding many service providers rely on to deliver thousands of registered or licensed treatment and recovery beds throughout B.C. as part of Budget 2024.
