There are a couple of fantastic manual release workshops coming up THIS WEEKEND with Drew Hume.

He is here in Squamish, sharing his incredible depth of knowledge in movement and manual therapy in early May.

1) Headaches & Jaw Clenching: Manual Release Workshop
May 8 @ 6-8pm at The Yoga Studio Squamish
If you have tension headaches, headaches that follow stressful moments, or if you clench your jaw at night, this workshop will introduce techniques for rapid relief that you can later use as a strategy for long-term management.

2) Rotator Cuff Therapy: Manual Release Workshop
May 9 @ 2-4pm at Wild Life Gym
Rotator cuff “stuff” is one of the most common sources of injury or discomfort. This workshop will give you an approach to shoulder maintenance you can keep coming back to, using tools to uncover hidden zones of tension and tissue disorganization that would otherwise hold back your training gains and reduce range of motion.

3) Buttery Hips: Manual Release Workshop
May 10 @ 4-6pm at The Yoga Studio Squamish
When was the last time your hips moved freely and easily? If you’re always feeling like they could use a spray of WD40, the manual release work that I’ll guide you through over 2 hours will give you the relief you've been craving.

All of the above workshops will use a RAD roller ball as the primary tool—yours to take home afterward so you can continue to apply what you learned.

There is a new weekly class on the schedule!
Join Alice O'Connor every Thursday at 5:30 pm starting this week.

"A practice of coming home — to land, to breath, to yourself."

Alice weaves alignment, breath, and Irish soulfulness into a grounding practice where movement becomes remembering.
Her classes invite students to return to the place inside themselves that feels like home.

Time: 5:30pm–6:45pm
Class style will change weekly each month:
Hatha (first Thursday), Vinyasa (second Thursday), Power (third Thursday), Restorative (fourth Thursday)
Price: Sliding scale $5–$10

New session starting May 6th!
Due to the size of the waitlist from the last session, I have decided to offer another Hip Health, Strength & Mobility series next month.
There are a few extra spots to join us!

Yoga for Hip Health, Strength and Mobility

We rely on our hips to support us in nearly everything we do but we don’t always support them very well. Stretching them when they feel tight doesn’t always help for long and isn’t necessarily what they really need.

This session will give you a better understanding of WHY things get tight in the first place, what you can do yourself to ease that discomfort and some new tools to help your hips feel happier and more flexible.

Session starts May 6, 2026.

Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:30 pm
at The Yoga Studio Squamish (37776 2nd Ave)

Yoga for Hip Health, Strength and Mobility starts April 8th!

We rely on our hips to support us in nearly everything we do, but we don’t always support them very well. Stretching them when they feel tight doesn’t always help for long and isn’t necessarily what they really need.

This session will give you a better understanding of WHY things get tight in the first place, what you can do yourself to ease that discomfort and some new tools to help your hips feel happier and more flexible.
