She’s here, she’s perfect, and she’s completely changed my world. 🤍

After a short but sweet maternity leave (and a crash course in just how hard those first weeks truly are), I’m excited to announce that I’m back in the clinic!

Becoming a mama has deepened my passion for prenatal and pediatric care in ways I didn’t think possible. I now understand firsthand the aches of pregnancy, the exhaustion of postpartum recovery, and how much it matters to have people in your corner.

If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or have a little one who could use some gentle support I’m here for you. Truly.

A little overdue for the big life update but understandably things have been busy! Zoe joined the world on December 9th and has just been the best little baby. The dog is obsessed with her and so are her parents! 💜

Only a few more weeks of maternity leave for me and I have some mixed emotions about it but I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the office again soon. The three of us are heading to Australia next week for a month and then I’ll be back to work at the beginning of April, until then I know everyone’s in very good hands with Dr. Thea.

My maternity leave starts next week and I’ll be off until April! Dr. Thea Lanoue is going to be filling in for me and taking excellent care of everybody in my absence, she will be available Monday mornings and afternoons and Wednesday afternoons, get your appointments booked!

Hi, I’m Dr Thea.

I love working with people who have struggled to solve their health challenges and desperately want to regain the confidence they once had in their bodies.

I graduated from Western University in London, Ontario with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and completed my Doctor of Chiropractic at the world-renowned New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland.

I continue to maintain membership with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic and am registered to practice with the College of Chiropractors of BC.

I continue to upgrade my clinical and chiropractic technique skills through post-graduate training, most notably in the areas of pre-natal and paediatric care.

Well it’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything on here but if you didn’t already know: this is my last week of work until April, baby is due sometime in the next few weeks!

I have wonderful locum coming to fill in for me so everyone will still be in very good hands! Dr. Thea is coming up from Vancouver to take care of everyone and will only be available Monday’s (morning/afternoon) and Wednesday’s (afternoon) starting next week until the end of March so get your appointments booked!!

Next Sunday: free(ish) chiropractic adjustments in exchange for donations to the food bank. Currently only 3 appointment spots left. I had some issues sending the email notice out last week so hopefully all patients got it (once or twice) in the end. If you can’t make it on Sunday I’ll be gladly collecting donations this week as well.

The Squamish Food Bank sent me a list of their ‘most useful’ items which you will find in the second image (also attached to the email I sent out). Please don’t bring perishables/things that require refrigeration or freezing, we don’t have the capacity to store these things at the office. Cash and cheques are also gratefully accepted, please make cheques out to “Squamish Food Bank Society”.
