Benefits of Massage Therapy in Colder Weather

With the fall weather approaching, learn more about the benefits of massage therapy during the colder months.

Improved Circulation
Colder temperatures can cause poor blood circulation and higher blood pressure due to blood vessel constriction. This can result in seasonal aches and pains.
Massage can help increase blood flow, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the cells allowing the body to feel warmer.

Massage techniques increase the flow of lymphatic fluid which carries white blood cells (responsible for fighting infections and bacteria) to the areas where they are needed most. This gives the immune system a boost during cold and flu season.
