We are excited to announce the newest member of our team at KFA - Speech Therapist, Katelyn Mayo!

Katelyn was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and graduated from Memorial University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Linguistics. She completed her Masters of Clinical Science (Speech-Language Pathology) at Western University in 2023.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Katelyn strives to honour and support all forms of communication. In her work, she prioritizes creating a safe & welcoming environment, fostering confidence in her clients, and building meaningful connections.

Katelyn is passionate about teamwork with parents, caregivers, and other professionals. She is interested in using a collaborative approach to support speech and language development. She also has a strong interest in stuttering, and has received specialized training through the Institute for Stuttering Treatment and Research in Alberta.
