Fasten your seatbelts ladies, gentleman and rogues...we are in for a ride!

As all the Astrologers are "buzzing" with the commencing of eclipse season, lets try to keep things concise and organized in what will be a time of deep change, revealing of hidden truths and overall upheaval of structure both on the world stage as well as the microcosms of our daily lives!

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo! ♍️🌝
On March 13th/25 at approximately 2:59 am the moon which will be in its Gibbous stage of fullness, will be shielded from the sun in the earths shadow for a total lunar eclipse.

Venus ( the planet of self expression) will be retrograding in Mercury:

Mercury, the planet of messages and communication, will be in retrograde soon after. It is important to note that during this time, all communications( be it interpersonal or technology related) can be disrupted a this time. Mercury's stationing in Venus, will kick start a rollercoaster of events resurfacing, such as hidden truths, motives and desires ( particularly in the realm of our relationships with others). This can be both painful and liberating, as Virgos critical eye will be asking us to take note of what is working and what is not.

South Node Eclipse: About loss, release, letting go, the revelation of hidden truths

Summary of current Events:

Lets break it down, shall we? Its eclipse season, and for most of us Astrologers, this is a time of upheaval, an uprising of truths being brought to the forefront, signifying significant change.

Enter Virgo: For the start of eclipse season, the sign of Virgo will be making a grand entrance; the first of many eclipses in this earth sign, which are scheduled up to Feb 2027; spanning out over the next two years.

How does Virgo impact this particular eclipse? One might ask.

Well, Virgo's critical eye is all about examining what is working and what is not, and how we go about correcting the areas of our lives that need work. We can either hide from uncomfortable situations, or we can take the Virgoian approach, which is to examine what needs to be fixed, and find a solution without getting caught up in the emotions of discomfort. The tricky part here is to not let our egos get in the way of slowing us down when we come face to face with some bitter truths which can arise with the retrograde approaching. This can specifically fall in all areas of our relations with others, including our romantic relationships and our collective relationships on the world stage, setting the precursors for shifting in macro systems of government and leadership at at large.

For those who hold Virgo sun and rising suns, this is your opportunity to bask in the center stage lovelies. People will be looking to you for leadership and guidance at a time when systems are failing and need a good reboot. Your not one to take the spotlight but now is the time to do what you do best- provide guidance and support with your strong analytical skills, solution based insights and grounded approach during a time of turbulence.

As mentioned above, this is a South Node eclipse, meaning that we will be entering into a period of loss and release. This again can be a time of great liberation, pain, discomfort or both depending on how reframe it situation. Saturn, the planet of wisdom and critical analysis will highlight Virgos stage here, forcing us to examine hard truths about ourselves and whether or not our work ethic may need to change in different wheelhouses of our lives be it career, relationships or financial based matters. Now is not a time of flexibility or fluidity, we will need to stand firm and hold fast to the decisions and boundaries we set now, as they will directly influence our future-for better or for worse.

Self Care Advice moving forward:

Lunar eclipses can be unsettling. Now is not the time for doing manifestation spells or drawing in what we want. The moon will edge on complete darkness and it will be a full moon, placing great emphasis on release, cleansing and letting go. It will be an excellent time to do cleansing rituals such as salt baths or black candles to dispel negative energies or energies that are stale and no longer serve us. This is also an excellent time for solitude and introspection to take mental notes of what we want and do not want in our lives, but we will need to be very clear and upfront with the universe about that as communication and intention can be skewed with mercury in its retrograde.

Feb 27/25 New Moon in Pisces 🌕♓️🌑
Oh man, after pretty much an entire month without sun, is sooooooo nice to see it finally returning. Ostara, which falls close to Easter, is right around the corner on March 21st. A celebration of fertility and rebirth. I feel like for many of us, rebirth seems to be a common theme these days, pushing through old paradigm shifts.
With the new moon in Pisces and the politically charged climate we are living in, right now its all about stripping away the current illusion and embracing new and hopefully better reference points for ourselves on both an individual and collective level. The new moon calls on us to be brave and let go of emotional ties that no longer serve us. Nostalgia for the past can sometimes prevent us from moving forward.

Tips and Tricks to really harness Pisces New Moon Energy:

1) Have a salt bath. Good old salt is spiritually cleansing combined with water (Pisces primary element) and would be especially effective at this time!

2) Visit an area where there is water close by and chill for a bit (maybe grab a coffee and a friend and shoot the s**t). Pisces is all about emotions and dreams ebb and flow throughout our daily lives, being next to water helps facilitate these energies depending on the cycles of the moon.

3) Have a heartfelt conversations about your dreams and honest conversations about letting go. With Pisces, its all about "going big or going home" when it comes to emotional baggage. Now is the time to plant new "seeds" for future ambitions and start weeding out emotional patterns and habits that are holding you back.

4) Be intentional: Write down things you wish to let go of in areas specific to emotions and relationships and burn them or bury them in the earth. This is the perfect New Moon ritual to engage in now!

With the Sun moving closer and the new moons cleansing energies, now is the time to push the reset button and finally have the courage to let go. Sending courageous vibes to you all!

What is a Stellium, one might ask. I keep referring to the fact that I have a double Stellium in my birth chart, and while Stelliums are quiet rare occurrences, any cluster of planets that show up in one or more of your houses in your birthchart are important pieces to pay attention too, as they influence your personality in quite a profound way.

A Stellium, essentially happens when you have three or more dominating planets that fall under a particular "house" in your birth chart. Each house is correlated with one of the 12 signs we are all familiar with within the western astrological wheelhouse. What's important to note about Stelliums are that they can contain a concentrated cluster of influential planets or conjunctions ( degrees or angels within these houses) which can really create intensity within their domains of where they are situated.

I'll use my birth chart to demonstrate, for example, my sun sign is in Sagittarius and so is my rising sign, I also have Mercury and Uranus there as well. All of these planets are concentrated in the first house of Sagittarius, while the other houses in my chart are pretty vacant.

Lets Break down each planet and what it means:

Mercury is how we communicate with others. It represents communication style within the astrological. It also represents intellect and how we learn things.

Uranus is kinda the planetary rebel, it represents how we rebel against the status quo and demonstrate our own uniqueness and individuality. Having this in my 1st house of Sagittarius means that I am a risk taker and a tad reckless, I definitely do not subscribe to societal norms and do my own thing most of the time.

The other house where I have concentrated planets and conjunctions is also in Scorpio in the 12th house, which deals with psyche ( all thinks witchy, occult and supernatural) Dark, brooding, magnetic and intense, Scorpio is definitely the opposite of Sagittarius personality, which is goofy, blunt and laid back.

My Moon sign, which governs relationships and romance, is also in this house, along with my Midheaven ( which governs life path and purpose) and my south node which represents past lives and innate talents I bring to this current life path I am on. The planet Saturn, also resides here too, which represents karmic lessons, trauma and wounding and lessons to be learned in this current life trajectory.

Soooo as you can see, most of my personality falls within the two signs of Scorpio and Sagittarius. Essentially, with Stelliums, the Birth Chart does not represent a balanced personality but more of an intense personality which can be beautiful and crazy all at once.

Hello esoteric voyagers! Ever hear of Lupercalia? Nope. Me neither, until I looked up the origin's of St. Valentines Day on the History Channel. It kinda goes without saying that most Christian celebrations have derived from pagan origins, and this one is no different.

Lupercalia was an ancient Greek Festival of cleansing and purification marked on Feb 15th. Inspired by the Romans to promote both health, healing and fertility, lets just say that Lupercalia was quite a "l***y" affair.

In true Pagan fashion, the Romans called upon a purification deity referred to as "Februus", coinciding with the month of February. Goats, Sheep and other animal sacrifices where offered, as well as cake....sounds like a great party. To top it off ( no pun intended) women who wished to conceive were "spanked." Sounds like a better night out then I've had in years.

Anyways, the Christian variation of course is WAY different and involves, not surprisingly, a saint, referred to as Valentine. On Feb 14th St Valentine was beheaded in his efforts to evangelize Rome, of its Pagan rituals, before the festival became outlawed after the 15th century. Things got all "touchy feely" when St Valentine supposedly wrote a letter to the jailers daughter when he was in prison before his beheading signed with "your Valentine" which is probably responsible for all the commercialization we see today with cards and chocolate and stuff.

When I think of my favorite Tarot cards a few Major Arcana come to mind.

Death- and it's wisdom of non duality and change

Queen of Wands- which represents my characteristics as a fire sign and with the black cat ( shall) in there too!

But I think a card I pulled of late ( the Strength Major Arcana card) has me really thinking about integrity and a kind of "quiet" grace that, in my later years I've worked really hard to try to achieve. To persevere not with forceful words or actions, but through grace and mastery of one's emotions is the ultimate form of growth in this life. This card radiates a certain kind of warmth in it as the lady gently opens the lions jaws with kindness and compassion....this is the way.
