Here are some tips to keep in mind when selecting OTC medications:
1. Read the label carefully. Be sure that you understand the warnings listed and follow the instructions for when and how to take it.
2. Only treat the symptoms you have. Talk to our pharmacist to make sure that the medication you take only treats the symptoms you are experiencing.
3. “Natural” remedies aren’t always safe. Some herbal supplements and medicines can cause side effects and interact with prescription medications. Ask our pharmacist to confirm that a natural remedy is right for you.
