I don’t know who needs to hear this but…👇

Despite what you may have heard, you DO ✅ have breastmilk the second your baby is born.

You don’t ❌ have to wait 3 days for milk to show up and you certainly don’t have to bottle feed them for 3 days until your milk “comes in”. 🙄
Your early milk is called colostrum and it’s super thick and healthy for baby - and within a few days after birth your milk will transition to “mature” milk. 👏
When your milk transitions, that’s what people call milk”coming in” because you start to make much more of it just in time for your baby to be able to handle bigger meals. 🥳
But you’ve got milk BEFORE it “comes in”. Despite what bottle companies and formula companies and random other accounts may say…😤

Have you heard or been told this about milk production after birth? Comment down below! ⬇️
