Here’s where I’m at today.
Aging doesn’t rattle me. Not one bit. I’ve reached a place where I’m no longer shaped by what anyone thinks of me, my choices, or how I run my life. That noise used to get in the way — now it doesn’t even register. I’m on my own frequency.
What matters to me right now is feeling healthy, inside and out. That means taking good care of myself throughout the day. Not later. Not when things calm down. I’m done with those excuses. I’m done with putting myself at the bottom of my own list. I know how I want to feel, and I’m choosing the rituals that keep me aligned with that feeling. Rituals have changed all areas of my life.
Running a business… that used to come with anxiety that sat in my chest like a stone. I don’t entertain that anymore. I’ve been doing this a long time. I look at the information in front of me, make the best decision I can, and I move on. No spiraling. No overthinking. No giving oxygen to what drains me.
And honestly? The most important things aren’t things at all. They’re my people. They’re the quiet moments. The cuddles and the laughs by candlelight. Helping someone. Learning something new. Taking my time to rest and restore and doing whatever my soul feels like doing — without guilt.
This is what aging looks like for me in 2026. Clearer. Simpler. Softer in the right places and stronger in the places that matter.
