The Forever Young 50+ Club has had an incredible year creating memories with workshops, social outings, community events, and meaningful moments of connection.

With support from the International Grenfell Association, the Forever Young 50+ Club expanded its activities for seniors in the region, offering everything from quilt-making and bead bracelet workshops to field trips, and children’s events.

Their story shows how a small group with a big heart can make a big impact with the right support.

The IGA was proud to take part in Daffodil Place’s Annual Radiothon on Thursday, November 13th.

During the event, Daffodil Place recognized the IGA’s three-year contribution of $150,000, supporting two important grants:
• Room nights for residents from the IGA region
• Furnishings and comfort items for guest rooms

Since opening in 2009, Daffodil Place has provided “a home when it’s needed the most” to 544 guests from the IGA region, totaling 7,807 nights of support. We’re grateful to be part of this meaningful work and to help ease the burden for individuals and families during challenging times.
