Meet the CareGivers Team, Jenna Corcoran, Manager of Client Care 🌟

If there is one thing Jenna Corcoran believes in, it is lifting others up. Whether it is empowering her team, solving problems, mentoring, or building a workplace where people actually enjoy coming to work, she is all in. Watching her team succeed is what drives her every day, and as the Manager of Client Care, she is on a mission to make that happen.

Originally from St. Bride’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, this proud Cape Shore girl has been with CareGivers for four years. She knows that home care is more than just a service. It is a lifeline, especially in today’s world with an aging population. She wishes more people realized just how important this work is and the real impact it has on individuals and families across the province.

For anyone new to this work, Jenna’s advice is simple but solid. Take it and run with it. There is endless room to grow, and every day is different. Some days will test you, and mistakes will happen, but the key is to own them, learn from them, and keep moving forward. The best part is you are never alone in this because your team has your back.

Now, when it comes to the all-important dinner question, Jenna could not pick just one guest. She would love to sit down with Princess Diana to get all the royal tea. What was life really like inside the British family? Did she know something they did not want the world to find out? And then there is Robin Williams, the man who made millions laugh while carrying his own struggles. She would love to ask how he found the strength to bring so much joy to others. More than anything, she would want to tell him he mattered because true kindness and support can go a long way.

Jenna’s leadership, passion, and ability to make things happen make her an incredible part of the CareGivers team. We are so lucky to have her! 💙

Meet the CareGivers Team – Tammy Hann, Client Care Coordinator 🌟

If there is one thing Tammy Hann knows, it is people. After seven years with CareGivers, including time as a Home Support Worker, she has built strong connections with both caregivers and clients. Now, as a Client Care Coordinator, she loves getting to know both sides of care and making sure everyone feels supported.

One thing she wishes more people understood is that home care is not just about personal care. Many clients are independent but need a little extra help with everyday tasks. Others simply need companionship, someone to check in, share a conversation, and remind them that they matter. Sometimes, the best care is not about what you do, but how you make someone feel.

For those new to the job, Tammy has some wise words. There are going to be days when you feel like you are not getting it right, but there will be so many more days when you go home with your heart full just from a conversation with a worker or client letting you know you are appreciated. In other words, do not stress over the tough days, because the good ones make it all worth it.

If she could have dinner with any famous person, Tammy would choose Terry Fox without a doubt. His story left a lasting impression on her as a child, proving that one determined person can inspire an entire country. She even had the chance to meet his family at a dedication ceremony years ago. If she could sit down with him today, she would love to hear his thoughts on how his legacy continues to change lives.

Tammy’s passion, kindness, and deep care for both clients and caregivers make her an irreplaceable part of the CareGivers team. We are so lucky to have her! 💙
