They include but are not limited to: music improvisation (using a variety of instruments), music based counseling, vocalizations to music, movement to music, song writing and relaxation. Hey kids, let's make some music! 🎶

We've teamed up with Ms. Terrilyn from Making Music Academy for a holiday themed music making pop-up. This class will lead you and your children through a fun-filled class of music, movement, and sensory play.

We're offering two classes on December 9 at the Paradise Double Ice Complex for $5.00 per child.

🎶Ages 0-5 years: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
🎶Ages 0-12 months: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Registration opens on December 3 at 1:00 p.m. for Paradise Residents and on December 5 at 1:00 p.m. To secure your spot, visit the Town's website www.paradise.ca/tottime

Intuition and I go way back…

Sang my first solo in grade 1, Somewhere Out There from An American Tail. It felt like magic.
-I knew

When I was 10, my Dad (at my now current age of 41), had just been diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s. Upon learning about the positive effects of music on Parkinsons and the growing field of music therapy.
- I knew.

While completing my unpaid 6 month long music therapy internship in long term care I would drive past the construction of the Autism Society. Future home of the Harmony Garden.
- I knew

When my Dad passed in 2011, my grief ridden gut told me to walk away from my full time position with benefits and go back to my Take Note family.
- I knew

When covid shuttered my private practice location and filled the world with uncertainty.
- I knew

When we sang on zoom and played along from our living rooms until it was safe to be together again.
- I knew

As shoulders ached from lugging too many instruments all around town, and burnout edged closer competition became community.
-I knew

As RWMT joins forces with I will continue to listen, trust and lean into what we each do best.
- Knowing 💕✨
