🤰Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum 🤱
Anyone in here expecting a sweet little baby or have a precious little at home???
Let us know in the comments and be sure to read this post because it’s for you, mama!!
Our bodies undergo an insane amount of pressure and change while growing, housing, birthing, and taking care of those tiny, adorable humans we love so dearly.
It’s important that we take extra care to support our body during this time, so let’s take a look at some ways we can use oils to keep our bodies and emotions going strong!
Ningxia Red- This antioxidant-packed drink is a serious life saver! With four times the antioxidant power of any other drink on the market, just ONE ounce serving per day supports the body’s overall health, memory, immune function, energy, and helps blood circulation to ensure our muscles and cells are getting the oxygen they need! Looking for something to replace at least one of your regular cups of daily coffee? Search no more. (Fun fact: Just one cup of Ningxia Red contains 4 cups of grapes, 1 cup of wolfberries, ½ of a plum, 5 cherries, 75 pomegranate seeds, ½ cup of blueberries, and ¼ cup of aronia berries. That’s a lot of good stuff, y’all!)
Super B- Because and growing a tiny human tend to suck all the energy and life out of you. This stuff supports the body’s natural energy supply and has been reformulated to contain natural folate as opposed to synthetic folic acid (which increases stressors), making it highly compatible with our body. Folate instead of Folic Acid is SO SO SO important. Google it!
OmegaGize (fish oil)- combines the power of three core daily supplements (omega 3-fatty acids, vitamin D-3, and CoQ10...go look that up right now cause you want it in your body!) Used daily, these ingredients work synergistically to support normal brain, heart, eye, and joint health and therefore aide in the growth and development of the baby’s brain and body as well! They’re always telling us to get more DHA so...here it is!
Deep Relief, Cool Azul pain cream, and OrthoEase massage oil are all great options to soothe and support healthy muscles and joints and aid in normal circulatio.
Frankincense and Gentle Baby essential oils combined with a little carrier oil can help support healthy skin and stretching tummies.
Life 5 probiotic and Peppermint Vitality, DiGize Vitality, and any Citrus Vitality oil can all help support regular digestive function which can easily get thrown off due to all those food cravings and decreased space to function inside.
Heartburn, anyone? AlkaLime to the rescue! It’s a mineral complex, formulated with Lime and Lemon essential oils, biochemic salts, and organic whole lemon powder to neutralize acidity. It’s the bees knees.
During the last 4-6 weeks of pregnancy, go ahead and grab some ClaraDerm spray from Young Living and give your lady garden a good daily spritz to prepare for pushing that baby out. Keep it nearby after baby arrives and spray often to support skin healing and recovery time!
As labor begins, massage a drop or two of Clary Sage or Jasmine oil into your inner ankles to kick things into gear.
Valor II- apply 4-6 drops on wrists, chest, back of neck and bottoms of feet to support focus and calm nerves during labor. You can also apply 1-2 drops on chest and base of spine during transitional labor and pushing.
Peace & Calming II- apply a drop to wrists and bottoms of feet to keep mama calmed and focused.
Brain Power or En-R-Gee- apply 1-2 drops along the spine, wrists, temples, and behind ears to support energy and stamina during labor.
Ylang Ylang- apply 1-2 drops on bottoms of feet to support the natural labor progression.
Frankincense- Dilute 1-2 drops in 1 tsp of carrier oil to anoint baby’s head and support brain function immediately after delivery.
Diffusing during labor can help keep mama relaxed and focused.
