Friends 🧡
I am presently in Bali, and in time to experience Nyepi Day. This annual 24 hours of silence is for introspection and purification of self and mother earth. This day of peace brings to the forefront the sounds in natural ecosystems. 🐦
There is absolutely no traffic or noise. Everything is closed, except medical emergencies. No-one goes to work, or leaves their property. Lights are dimmed, power is minimal and the focus is on self and family. I would love to see an annual peaceful Nyepiday globally. Wouldn't you?

Happy International Women's Day 🙏

On this International Women's Day i feel called to speak up, to stand up for a matriarchal future.
Matriarchy is not the opposite of patriarchy. It's a circular paradigm that puts children and the vulnerable in the centre (of care and protection).

I feel a calling to explore the matriarchal teachers, writers, healers; the wise women who care(d) for mother earth as their life desire.

These writers often focus on topics such as spirituality, speciesism, racism, sexism, environmental justice, and the nurturing of life.

It's difficult to balance peace and happiness amidst the violence and sadness. We can grow our libraries and our brains. 💝
