What does PTSD massage look like?

Just like this! You will lie on the table face up completely clothed for the treatment. We take an approach that is minimally invasive to make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Touch is introduced slowly and gently allowing the nervous system to relax and ensuring your body and mind know you are in a safe space.

Before your next vet appointment please connect Paw in Hand and I will forward you the required referral form.

Appointments will be available Saturday mornings from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm and will be 30 minutes each to start. The clinic room will be completely cleaned in-between dogs to keep everyone as safe as possible!

30 minutes session are $50 tax included!

I am so excited to meet all of your animals and give them the best care possible! 🐾🐕

Let’s jump right into one of the biggest questions about canine massage! 🐕

Why would my dog need a massage?

Dogs could have a massage for a variety of reasons! Here are two big ones!

To start they can benefit from massage because it helps to relax their muscles. Our four legged friends are really active and sometimes it’s easy to forget that all that exercise can lead to tense muscles! Espically in dogs who are involved in agility or who are working animals!

Another reason could be to help with the symptoms of some common disorders like arthritis and hip dysplasia. Massage can helps to make them a little more comfortable much like it would in people!

There are many other reasons to have our fur babies to get a massage! If you have a question about if your do dog could benefit from a treatment just reach out!
