This month marks 10 years since we first opened our space!

We are so blessed to have such a dedicated community of students who continue to choose to support themselves through the practice of yoga with us.

Our sweet space has offered a refuge for so many over the years to care deeply for themselves with the guidance and nurturance of our amazing teachers.

Our hearts are full as we honour this milestone and we are deeply grateful to all of you who have been part of our story.

May we continue to share this beautiful practice in a way that meets you where you are and sustainable through all seasons of life ♥️

Neurofascial yoga combines yin and yang movements, neuroscience, and embodiment to release tensions, hydrate and enhance glide in the connective tissue, and encourage mind-body health and wellness.

A message from Tina:

My counsellor perspective on this style of yoga: We often try to talk our way out of trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns... that idea that if we change how we think, we can feel better. However, we can’t fully shift to healthier patterns until we also include our bodies. Our bodies and minds are integrated - not separate. This practice strengthens interoceptive awareness and capacity, which essentially is the awareness of your internal sensations and your capacity to hold them... critical skills for emotional regulation and processing, mental functioning, and behaviour control. I believe it can compliment counselling or therapy nicely.

My yoga teacher lens: This is a nervous system and physical practice. It can support reducing stress by improving interoception and also improve mobility by enhancing proprioception (coordination/awareness of where body is in space).

My personal yoga practice lens: When I practiced neurofascial yoga for 12 days straight, I noticed less pain and greater mobility. I also felt less stressed and more at ease. I now incorporate pieces of this practice daily.

NOTE: Like any practice, a regular and consistent practice is needed to see lasting benefits.

Excited to gather with our Spring group of moms and babes tomorrow 🌼

This supportive practice helps you reconnect with your body in a space that makes room for feeding, fussing, movement, and rest.

Through yoga postures and functional movement, we create more space and freedom within while easing tension and gradually rebuilding strength.

We pay special attention to areas that often feel overworked or depleted in early motherhood, including the abdominals, shoulders, neck, hips, and low back.

Variations and props are offered so you can meet your body exactly where it is, not where you think it should be.

This class is a beautiful way to ease back into movement, reconnect with your body, and be held in a community of other moms who understand this tender, powerful season.

There is no bouncing back here.

Come exactly as you (and baby) are ♥️
