A company in honor of my Mom who made the first batch of medicinal ointment with me. Many years ago I had been using a product that was discontinued in Canada.

With my Pharmacy Assistant background I read the label and thought that I could make something similar. My Mom and I made the first batch. That is where the name Nurben came from. The first 3 letters are from my maiden name of Nursey and the last 3 letters are from both my Mom"s initials and mine which are the same being BEN. Hence Nurben was created. I adapted the ingredients to be unique to my p

roduct and over the years have had many people tell me I should market it. This was the original ointment with the petroleum base. I could never claim it was all-natural because of the base but recently found a way to do this and maintain the same active ingredients that made Nurben''s so great and worked so well. I hope that my business is a success and I honor my Mom who has since passed by using her name and initials as a company name. Thanks Mom for being there at the beginning. Brenda Bissonnette
