Exciting news from Nova Scotia! 🎉We’ve started offering our popular SMART (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together)® exercise classes to participants in our Adult Day Programs—starting in Cape Breton, where the first class brought “lots of smiles,” says Monique Natividad, Provincial Program Supervisor.
ADPs provide social, recreational and therapeutic activities in a safe, supportive space for older adults and people with disabilities. SMART classes are low-impact and accessible for all abilities, helping participants improve strength, balance, and mobility—while having fun!
Next up: Lunenburg, Bridgewater, Yarmouth, Berwick and Middleton in August! 💙
