I was hoping that I was never going to have to make this type of post again, but here I am almost a year later. Due to being in alert level 5 and all the restrictions, massage therapy services have been cancelled for at least two weeks. Someone (either Karen or I) will be in contact with patients tomorrow to let everyone know. As soon as I am able to return back, everyone will be contacted. I can't wait to return. I hope everyone stays safe and well. 🥰

Hello again everyone! I'll be opening up on Monday, June 15th, for sure. 🤗 I look forward to going back to work, even with all the changes! It will be mandatory to wear a mask, a homemade one will be just fine if that's all you have. If you don't have any, one will be provided by me, but of course it's encouraged to bring your own.

My hours will be changed for a little bit, I will mostly be working 4 day weeks instead of 5 for now. Asking that everyone have a little bit of patience as I'm opening back up, I'm not going to be seeing the same amount of people I usually see per week, it's a bit reduced for now, especially under these circumstances. Trying to contact people each day, but there's a lot of you, so it may take a little while to sort out all appointments.

For future appointments you will have to sign a new consent form, and I also have a new protocols/guidelines of course since the virus, which I can email to you if you wish to see.

A screening will be done prior to the appointment, just to be completely sure one is not showing symptoms of covid and coming in.

Hello everyone, another quick update! Also going to apologize for the lengthy post.. I have a tentative date to begin working again. The province is allowing RMTs to return to work at level 3, which would bring us to June 8th. I am hoping to start up on June 15th if everything goes well. Of course this date is tentative, but you all will be contacted as soon as I begin.

I look forward to going back to work, it's been too long and I miss you all. My governing body has been sending us protocols that we must adhere to once we start working, and while these protocols may seem a bit intense, they are put in place for the safety of you and I.

I will be temporarily changing my hours and once I determine what my hours are going to be, I will update them on my profile so you can all be aware.

I will be required to wear a mask during each appointment, and you as the patient must wear one as well. It does not have to be a medical mask, if you have a homemade one that is certainly fine. However if you do not have one, I can supply you with one.

I will also need to be wearing gloves and an apron. We needed to purchase something that could cover our clothes and be taken off with each patient, so I chose an apron, again for the safety of you and I. (I'm sure I'll look hilarious during treatments).

And of course there will be strict sanitizing protocols that I will be following, along with having 30 minutes in between each patient to make sure there is no overlap, and gives everything that I just sanitized more than enough time to dry.

Once I am back I will need to collect your emails so I can send you the specific protocol we have in detail, just so you can be well informed.

It's officially been one month since I had to temporarily close down my practice within tabletop due to covid 19, and I can't express how much I miss my patients and my work! Can't wait until we get back to some form of normality. I look forward to seeing all of you guys (hopefully sooner rather than later). Hope you are all staying safe 🥰

Hello everyone! Just wanted to provide a little update in response to the virus. It is being recommended that all registered massage therapists discontinue their work due to COVID-19.

The girls at work are giving everyone calls as we speak to cancel any future appointments that have been made, since Tabletop is closed until further notice. I am so sorry that it has come to this, but at this point in time we all need to be focusing on our health more than anything.

As soon as I return back to work, you will all be hearing from me. I will get any cancelled appointments in as quickly as I possibly can. Hopefully this all gets under control soon.
