🌦️ Anyone else not know how to dress in the morning lately?
One day it’s grey and freezing. The next, the sun is out and it almost feels like spring. Then winter comes back just to remind you it’s not done yet.
Right now, the weather can’t seem to make up its mind and honestly? Neither can life sometimes.
Change is like that. It rarely arrives in a straight line. Just when you start to feel settled, something shifts again. A relationship. A job. Your health. Your sense of who you are.
And when things feel that uncertain, our brains may try to take over by worrying. Our brains may plan for every outcome or replay conversations and map out worst-case scenarios. It feels like control but really, it’s just our nervous system doing its best to protect us from the unknown.
The truth is, we can’t think our way out of uncertainty.
But we can learn to get better at sitting with it. To remind ourselves that we’ve lived through hard seasons before and that we came out the other side.
Some days that’s enough. ☀️
