Happy Monday!!!

Last week was an absolute whirlwind in our house! Our eldest daughter Isla turned eleven! We celebrated her birthday in style with a KPop Demon Hunters themed cake. I don't know about you, but the obsession is real around here! 😂

Today seems like a fitting day to post this cake! We were woken up this morning with a township crew digging up our neighbour's driveway! 🫠

All forms of big trucks are awesome, and there's nothing quite like a wicked garbage truck cake when you're a little boy turning 3!!!

Happy Thursday!

I had the pleasure of making this cake for a super rad, water loving kiddo! His mom msg'd me asking if we could theme his cake around his most favourite thing - tubing! She sent me inspiration pics of her son cruising on his tube, and as you can tell, my answer was definitely YES!

I used different shades of blue icing to create depth and texture. The white icing was the perfect finishing touch to really emphasize the spraying water! I used both edible and non-edible items to create this one of a kind cake, and topper.

Good Morning!!

I wanted to take a minute, and reintroduce myself!

My name is Jen, my husband Scott and I have four beautiful daughters! ( Isla, Addi, Nora, and Ada)
We have lived at our home right in the heart of Stirling, since 2013. My husband grew up in Stirling, so it was a very easy choice for us to settle in this beautiful community!

When you come to pickup your treats, you will likely be greeted by my whole family! 🩷

Cupcakes by Jen started as a hobby. When my eldest daughter was born, I started to practice baking because I wanted to make her first birthday cake! I have learned so much since then, and I am proud to say I'm a self-taught baker!

Cupcakes by Jen was formed in 2019, and this wonderful community has been a large part of my family for over 6 years!

When my world turned upside down, and I got very sick, you were there. You helped lift me, and my family. You came out in droves to support us with hugs, meals, kind supportive words, and you really embodied the the expression "it takes a village". When I look back on that time in my life, I will be forever grateful!

I'm very much back, and I cannot wait to make something special for you!

Hi! 👋

I'm sure some of you have been wondering where the heck I have been! This summer has been interesting, lots of changes in our family. My kids (10,7,5,3) have kept me on my toes, then just last week, we added a four-legged friend, George!

I have been pondering long and hard, and this decision just feels right for myself and my family.

I have decided to close temporarily. This isn't good-bye, but more of a see you later! I'm not entirely sure what the future holds for Cupcakes by Jen, but I do know I plan to be back!

I will be a vendor during the Country Christmas Gathering Tour. You can find me the first two weekends in November, at Cranberry Hollow! (Nov 1, 2, 3 & Nov 8, 9, 10)

I wish I could do it all, but my growing family needs their mama. I'll see you later! 🥹❤️

Hi!! 👋
I've been a little quiet lately, life has been BUSY! I wanted to take some of this summer to enjoy my time with my kiddos!
We had a very important milestone birthday to celebrate also!

My eldest daughter, the one to make me a mama, has turned 10! Ten whole years of loving this amazing young lady! She is kind, funny, smart, caring, and so much more! We celebrated Isla her friends over the weekend, and with our family for her actual birthday yesterday!

Her only request for the cake was chocolate, with salted caramel! Her favourite colour is pink, so the rest came easy!
